We just finished Chapter 2 in Science and everyone did very well!  Great job guys!  I suspect that everyone is excited about the up and coming Chapter.  THE SOLAR SYSTEM!  We will be taking a look at the giant rock that we’re spinning around on.  This should make for some great discussions and some really fun projects!  In Math we will be finishing up Chapter 15 and moving into the wonderful world of predicting events using Math.  In LA we will finish up working with helping verbs and get ready to move on to identifying contractions.  Social next week will be a lot of fun, The Talking Apples will be teaching us all about immigrants and how they have helped to develop countries.  Get ready guys!

Ok, for real this time!

Field Trip coming up on March 18th!  In Science we just finished up work on our anemometer project which was a lot of fun.  Math we completed bar graphs and frequency charts.  In Language arts we are working on helping verbs and analyzing main themes within reading selections.  All in all things are going really well in class and I look forward to the next few weeks when we start our Social Studies presentations!  Have a great weekend!

Field Trip

Hey guys I apologize for the long wait in regards to the field trip.  As it stands we are planing on visiting a water treatment plant in Klong Toey in two weeks.  The plan was to go this coming week on Thursday but the presenters canceled our appointment.  We have set a new schedule and it looks like everything will work out well now.  Thank you for your patience and understanding.  The next coming weeks are going to be pretty busy.  We have talent show coming up and I have already heard some of the great talents that will be presented at the show and I’m sure it will be great fun!  Have a wonderful weekend!

Happy Chinese New Year!!

First off I want to wish you all a Happy Chinese New Year!  I hope you enjoy your vacation and come back rested and ready for some fun activities!  We will begin looking at the forms of water in Science and trying out some cool experiments.  In Social Studies we will continue gathering knowledge for our Health and Environment Magazine.  In Language Arts we are finishing up possessive nouns and moving on to Chapter 11.  Finally, in Math we will continue working with division however, we will start applying it to word problems.  Lots of work and lots of fun!  See you Monday!

Welcome Back Students!

I hope everyone had a wonderful vacation studying for our pop quiz first thing Tuesday morning…… what? You mean you didn’t know there was a quiz? Just kidding theres NO quiz I was just checking to make sure I had your attention! =) We will be moving right into our subjects though.
