Welcome to my blog. Vacation time is over and I hope you had a good time with it. I guess everyone is refreshed and ready for another semester of fun learning.
Some of the new programs that you might encounter with your Computer class will be the following:
- OpenOffice Suite - this is a bundle of software paralleled with the MS Office that you are already familiar with.
- MS Office 2007 - we will not remove the MS Office, rather upgrade it so you’ll be equipped more for the programs that you’ll be using in the near future.
- Linux Operating System - we don’t want you to rely solely on Windows OS. There are other good OS out there that most schools and businesses are using; and one of that is the Linux OS. It’s a good thing that you’ll learn it right at the very start.
I’ll be posting here (in this blog) homeworks and other announcements with regards to our Computer Class. As the time goes by, you might see your digital works in here. So, I advise you to visit this more often.
